In Australia, we often call it 'spag bog', which I know does not sound appealing AT ALL. Strange slang we have... Yours looks great though - love the peas - as you say, such a great addition to meals. I've never tried mint in a bolognese - will have to give it a go!
Haha I love weird slang! There are plenty of unattractive food names out there - when I was at school they used to give us spotted dick for dessert which made us giggle!
I think the mint works well with the peas in this one :)
Ooooh we love making bolognese with lentils!! We never add peas, but we should. I really think this my favorite way to eat a bolognese :). Oooh with mushrooms added. Mmmmm...

Looks like a great meal to cook up quickly! (Even if it uses 3 pots, in my house my boyfriend does all the washing up so I don't mind ;))
ReplyDeleteHaha that's what boyfriends are for :p my husband washed up this one for me!
DeleteLooks delicious! Spag bol is my favourite comfort food!
